Amala Paul supports Leena Manimekalai's #Metoo allegations

Director Leena Manimekalai had recently spoken up against director

movement.

Susi tried to misbehave with her in his car after central locking it and she had to brandish a knife to escape, she had said. Susi Ganeshan had denied the allegations, and Leena had to face derogatory questions from Tamil media as well. But now, actress Amala Paul has come out in support of Leena, saying that she can imagine his episode happening with her, ''from a man who has a twisted set of moral values and utterly low respect for women''.

Despite being the leading actress for Thirutupayale2, she was subject to ''double meaning talks, misrepresented offers and unchivalrous bodily contacts'' she writes. Amala also says she applauds Leena's courage and that it is high time government and judicial benches device a system to address such issues.
