After the success of the Fahadh Faasil starrer psychological thriller ‘Athiran’, the newbie director Vivek is all set for his next film ‘Teacher’ starring Amala Paul in the lead. According to the latest updates, the Amala Paul starrer will be hitting the big screens on December 2 this year.

The release date of ‘Teacher’ was announced by the makers on the occasion of Amala Paul’s birthday on 26th October. The movie marks the comeback of Amala Paul to the Malayalam film industry after a long gap. The actress will be also playing a pivotal role in Mammootty’s upcoming movie ‘Christopher’ and Prithviraj’s ‘Aadujeevitham’.
Helmed by the director Vivek, the script of ‘Teacher’ is penned by the director along with the writer PV Shaji Kumar. Anu Moothedathu is the cinematographer for this Amala Paul starrer and Dawn Vincent is the music director. Manoj will be handling the editing section of ‘Teacher’. The main filming location for ‘Teacher’ was in Kollam, Kerala.
Apart from Amala Paul, ‘Teacher’ also features the actors Manju Pillai, Chemban Vinod Jose, Hakeem Shajahan, Prashanth Murali, Nandu, Hareesh Pengan, Anumol, Mala Parvathy, and Vineetha Koshy in pivotal roles. The expectation levels for ‘Teacher’ among the audiences are high as the makers seem to be adding a kind of suspense element to the movie.
On the other hand, Amala Paul was last seen in the thriller film ‘Cadaver’ where she played the lead character named Dr. Badra Thangavel. The actress also has the Malayalam film ‘Dvija’ in the pipeline. The movie is directed by Aijaz Khan and also features the actors Neeraj Madhav and Sruthy Jayan in significant roles.
