Akshay Radhakrishnan says one needs these two things to grow in M-Town

It’s only been a few months since Neeraj Madhav revealed the hardships newbies have to face while working in Malayalam films. While a section of the audience and technicians supported him, many raised their voices against the actor too. However, Neeraj stood by his words, even as the statements got debated on various platforms.
Recently, actor Akshay Radhakrishnan, who debuted in Malayalam through the film ‘Pathinettam Padi’ of Shankar Ramakrishnan and is waiting for his next film ‘Velleppam’s’ release, also made a statement hinting what’s required to make it big in the industry.On his online social media page, Akshay wrote, “You either need a circle of your own, or else you need a godfather. If you don’t have both, it is difficult to grow in Malayalam cinema. If at all there are no reasons, people would try to oust you from the field. But, it is ok, I will have to struggle a bit.”
His followers also made some interesting observations, as comments. While one said, “Nepotism exists not only in Malayalam film industry, but in Bollywood,Tollywood everywhere. Not only in the film industry. In every industry. Keep trying. That talent in you can't be taken away right… keep going...”another observed, “Bro, your performance in Pathinettam Padi was amazing. Don’t be upset! You will definitely reach a good position! Better days will come and strive for it! Best wishes.” A few also stressed on the fact that Akshay shouldn’t lose hope. “Stand up straight and realize who you are, that you tower over your circumstances,” a comment read.
