Being the son of veteran director Sathyan Anthikad, Akhil Sathyan has indeed met the expectations of the audiences with his debut directorial venture, ‘Paachuvum Athbhuthavilakkum’. Reportedly, Akhil Sathyan is all set for his next film, which will surprisingly have a ‘Sherlock Holmes’ style and is touted to be an action thriller with several humour elements.
Although there has been no official announcement about the same, according to reports, the ‘Pachuvum Athbhuthavilakkum’ director is making his sophomore directorial venture a special and interesting one by adding ‘Sherlock Holmes’ style to it.
Reportedly, Akhil Sathyan’s next film will have a similar mood to the superhit Mammootty starrer ‘Kalikkalam," which is helmed by his father, Sathyan Anthikkad. Reports also say that the movie will be technically experimental and that actress Urvashi will play a significant character. An official announcement will be made once the team finalises the cast.
Meanwhile, Akhil Sathyan’s directorial debut, ‘Pachuvum Athbhuthavilakkum," got high positive responses from the audiences, although it only had a mediocre performance at the box office. Actor Fahadh Faasil played the lead character, Pachu, in the family drama movie.
