Aju’s got height issues with Rima

Aju Varghese, who has mostly donned the role of the hero’s 2 am friend, will next be seen in a lead role in Aneesh Anwar’s `Zachariyayude Garbhinikal'. As luck would have it, he gets to romance one of the leading actresses in M-Town, Rima Kallingal.
Aju plays Ajmal, aka Aju, in the movie. About his role, the actor says, “Aju has strong feelings for Fathima, played by Rima. However, due to their height difference, he is unable to confide his love for her.”
The love story between Aju and Rima would be one among the series of stories revolving around pregnant women and their gynaecologist.
Aju is also excited about teaming up with Nivin Pauly in his next film, for the sixth time. Directed by debutant Jude Antony Joseph, Om Shanti Hosana will have Aju as the second lead. “I play Nivin’s best friend in the movie. He is the kind of person who will stand by his friend for anything and everything. However, when his friend has a problem, he would be the first to disappear from the scene,” says Aju. The duo has shared screen space in movies such as Malarvadi Arts Club, Sevenes, Thattathin Marayathu, Bhoopadathil Illatha Oridam and Chapters.
Aju is also part of Paisa Paisa and Rasputin, which will hit the screens this year.
