Aju Varghese, who is known for his hilarious roles in Ohm Shanthi Oshana and more recently, Orma Undo Ee Mugham, will next be seen in James Albert’s Mariyam Mukku as an Anglo-Indian guy. He sports a chin puff moustache, coloured hair and contact lens to look the part.“I am playing an Anglo-Indian guy named Lloyd Casper Anderson. Lloyd, who has been living away from home, returns to his hometown and gets involved in certain issues happening at the coastal village,” says Aju.The actor is excited about his new look as he feels it is just apt for his character. “It is a small yet important role in the movie. My character is introduced in the second half,” says the actor, who has a number of movies lined up in M-Town. “I am trying to take up diverse roles as much as possible. In the upcoming movie, Lal Bahadur Shasthri, I am playing a character role alongside Jayasurya and Nedumudi Venu. I am happy with the way my career is progressing,” he says. The movie set in the backdrop of a coastal village has Fahadh Faasil and Sana in the lead roles.
Meanwhile, amidst his busy schedule, Aju is loving every minute of his new role in real life — as the father of twins! “Yes, I am enjoying the ‘Papa’ role to the fullest. We have named the twins Evan and Juvana,” he says.
