. Now, he is back in Malayalam through a Suresh Unnithan movie, which has already gone on floors.

A horror thriller, the film is titled Kshanam and Ajmal plays an ad filmmaker in the movie. “My character Arun Zackariya is a leading ad man in the film. A big budget movie, its theme is interesting and the makers are aiming at putting together a horror flick which would remind one of international movies of the genre, rather than following the traditional horror pattern that we have seen in Mollywood. I joined the set just two days ago,” says Ajmal.

Actress Anu Sithara’s sister Anu Sonara makes her film debut through this project, but Ajmal’s heroine in this film is a new face named Lekha Prajapathi. The movie also has Tamil actor and Four The People fame Bharath, director-actor Lal and newbie Neha Ajith as part of its cast. Bijibal scores music for the film which has Ajay David Kachappally as the cinematographer.
