Aishwarya Lekshmi signs her next Tamil film with Arya

Aishwarya Lekshmi is riding high on success and the diva has signed her next Tamil film with the heartthrob Arya! The gorgeous actress will be seen as the leading lady in the upcoming Tamil film tentatively titled ‘

Arya 33

’. If reports are to be believed, ‘Arya 33’ is a science fiction drama. The film is helmed by Shakti Soundar Rajan and the team has kickstarted the project with a puja function on Monday (Oct 25).

��This is gonna be something special for all of us. Need all ur love and blessings #Arya33,” Arya tweeted, announcing the switch on.


Aishwarya Lekshmi too was present at the puja function. She was seen decked up in a yellow saree, teamed up with a blue striped blouse. Aishwarya Lekshmi also shared a couple of pictures of her on social media.


Shakti Soundar Rajan has previously directed Arya in ‘

Teddy

’ and their upcoming collaboration is highly anticipated. ‘Arya 33’ will also feature Simran, Thiagarajan, Kavya Shetty, Harish Uthman, Gokul, and Bharath Raj, in pivotal roles.

Meanwhile, ‘Arya 33’ marks Aishwarya Lekshmi’s fourth Tamil project. Her previous releases were Vishal starrer ‘Action’ and Dhanush starrer ‘Jagame Thandhiram’. Her third film - ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ has wrapped up the shoot last month (September). ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ is helmed by acclaimed filmmaker Mani Ratnam. The epic historical film will feature Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Jayaram, Sobhita Dhulipala, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Prabhu, Prakash Raj, Sarathkumar, Vikram Prabhu, and Ashwin Kakumanu in pivotal roles.

On the other hand, Aishwarya Lekshmi’s latest release was ‘Kaanekkaane’, wherein she essayed the leading lady opposite Tovino Thomas. The film was helmed by Manu Ashokan and was scripted by Bobby Sanjay
