Actress Aishwarya Lekshmi best known for her roles in films ‘Mayanadhi’, and ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ is excited about the recently announced Malayalam film ‘Pathirathri’. The upcoming film is directed by Ratheena, who has previously helmed the Mammootty starrer 'Puzhu'. ‘Pathirathri’ has Navya Nair and Soubin Shahir in the lead roles.

The makers announced the film recently. Aishwarya Lekshmi dropped the poster on her Instagram story and wrote, “I can’t wait to watch it Ratheena. Kill it!” She also extended wishes for Navya Nair and Soubin Shahir, who are playing the lead roles in the film. She also cheered for the cinematographer and musician and said, “two of my dearest humans are also a part of it. Amaze us like you guys always do.”


Meanwhile, ‘Pathira’ as the title suggests deals with the incidents involving two cops at one night. The tagline of the film reads, “One night, two cops.” The switch on ceremony of the film was held in Kochi on June 10. The screenplay of 'Pathirathri' is written by Shaji Marad, known for his acclaimed film 'Ela Veezha Poonchira'.

Apart from Soubin and Navya Nair, the film also has Sunny Wayne, Shabareesh Varma and Ann Augustine in key roles in the film. The film's cinematography is done by Shehnad Jalal and the music is composed by Jakes Bejoy. The cinematography is done by Sreejith Sarang.
