Ahaana Krishna's family "shaken and terrified" by trespassing incident

In a shocking trespassing incident,

said how "shaken and terrified" her family was when a man jumped over their gate and also tried to get into the house where her parents and sisters live. The police later apprehended him and he is now in Poojapura jail.

Sharing what happened on Sunday night on her social media account, the actor posted a video of the man standing outside their property and then jumping over their gate. "This happened post 10 pm. He claimed to be a fan of mine. And he said he was there to meet me. But someone with decent intentions doesn't jump over a closed gate, when we don't agree to open it," said the actor, who had said earlier on social media that after testing Covind positive, she was quarantining away from home.

Apparently, Ahaana's youngest sister 15-year-old Hansika, "had the solid presence of mind" to run down from the first floor to lock the door of the house just in time, before the

intruder

started turning the handle to open the door. He then sat on their verandah and played music on his phone loudly. The Luca actor thanked the police for arriving in 15 minutes.

Calling for people to respect others' privacy, Ahaana wrote, "People with creepy intentions, please realise that you cannot just do shit and get away all the time. Don't ruin our lives." But the actor also requested those reporting the incident to "not politicise or communalise this incident so that your opinions look more interesting."

Ahaana’s father, actor Krishna Kumar said in a separate interview to us that he intended to give a case against the intruder.
