Ahaana Krishna pens a heartbreaking note on losing her teacher to Parkinson’s disease
Actress Ahaana Krishna lost her teacher to Parkinson’s disease lately, and the actress has penned a heartfelt note speaking about the rapport she had with her.
Taking to her social media handle, Ahaana Krishna dropped a video, and said, “The best Principal my school has had.. Rev Sister Linis Noronha. After a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease, she passed away this morning to a world free from pain and suffering! She was such an incredible power-house. She was the Principal of my school for 5 years, 2007 - 2012. After the vacations got over and I went back to School in the June of 2007 to 7th Grade , we saw so many beautiful changes in our school - from fancy dust-bins to water-coolers to many new prayer songs to a new set of cultural programs and basically a strong woman leading our school. Even after she left school, everyone who had studied under her principal phase would fondly remember her as the vibrant, strict, talented, enterprising and most promising Principal our school has had. After she left school, we naturally had lost touch.”
Her note further read, “During May of 2021, I had posted a School Vlog in which I had spoken about her. Someone happened to send her that Vlog and she wanted to connect with me to let me know how happy she felt after watching that video. And thus we re-connected after 11 years. But unfortunately by then , she was battling Parkinson’s and over the months .. her health deteriorated. But the very last time I saw her, which was in May of 2022… there was such a strong ray of energy in her.”
Mourning the loss of her teacher, Ahaana Krishna said, “Rest in Peace dearest Sister! We hope you know that you haven’t just faded into thin air… but you’ve left, creating such a strong place in so many hearts and we will always remember you for the strong, witty, capable and admirable woman you are! ♥️”

My grandma has Parkinson’s disease, she is about 75 years old it was detected 7 years ago. Right now it’s getting more difficult to live for her, because of stiff muscles she can’t even move. L-dopa and carbidopa medicines are given, but won"t give much relief. She can"t eat food and the skin is damaging forming ganglia. I thought this might be the last stage and the medications she was given did not help at all, so I started to do alot of research on natural treatments, I was introduced to Health Natural Centre and their Parkinson’s Herbal Protocol. She started on the Parkinson’s Treatment last year, her symptoms gradually diminished including her Tremors, Body Weakness and Muscle Pains. Reach them at healthnaturalcentre.org , She is getting active again since starting this treatment, she is able to walk again ( down the street and back ) and able to ride her treadmill again! God Bless all PD Caregivers. Stay Strong, take small moments throughout the day to thank yourself, to love your self, and pray to whatever faith, star, spiritual force you believe in and ask for strength. I can personally vouch for these remedy but you would probably need to decide what works best for you.Read allPost comment
