Ahaana Krishna on Prithviraj film Bhramam: Keep me out of the drama; I haven't blamed anyone
Ahaana Krishna addressed the rumours that have been doing the rounds about her not being a part of Prithviraj film Bhramam. The film, a remake of Hindi film Andhadhun, also has Unni Mukundan and Mamta Mohandas in lead roles and is directed by Ravi K Chandran.
According to some accounts online Ahaana had lost a role in the film, because of her political affiliations.

The filmmakers then issued a detailed statement that this was not the case, and while Ahaana had auditioned for the role, it was felt after a look test that she did not “fit the character. The statement also pointed out that Prithviraj had “absolutely nothing to do with the casting decision”.
Speaking about it through an Instagram story on her social media account, Ahaana said, “Keep me out of it, I am not even in the picture. I have not blamed anyone; whatever is being said in this drama is some other people’s opinion.” The actor said that she was doing a detox programme in Puducherry.
Ahaana insisted that she understood that Prithviraj had nothing to do with her not being part of the film, and said he was one of the more grounded and professional people. “I have always declared that I’ve been a huge fan of Prithviraj from the early days. So don’t say anything otherwise, maddeningly,” she said, adding that she was dreaming of one day acting with him.
Ahaana has a couple of projects, including Adi with Shine Tom Chacko, directed by Prashob Vijayan, and Nancy Rani, directed by debutant Joseph Manu James.
