During the question-answer section on Instagram, one of his followers asked him about his upcoming projects. Director Mathukutty Xavier opened up by saying that he has planned a project which he has co-written with the writer Alfred Kurian Joseph. He also added by saying that the upcoming film will be the directorial debut of Alfred Kurian Joseph who has previously written the script for the film ‘Helen’.

Further Mathukutty Xavier opened up that the cinematography of his upcoming project will be done by Jaison Jacob John who is famous for the bilingual film ‘Kadaseela Biriyani’ which was directed by Nishanth Kalidindi under the script penned down by the writers Vivekanand Kalaivanan and Nishanth Kalidindi.

In the question-answer segment, Mathukutty told that working with Jahnvi Kapoor was the best part of ‘Mili’. Previously, actress Jahnvi Kapoor penned a heartfelt note to the entire team of ‘Mili’ as the shoot was wrapped up. The screenplay of ‘Mili’ is written by Ritesh Shah who is famous for the Bollywood films ‘Force’, ‘Airlift’, ‘Pink’, ‘D-Day’, and several other movies.

The original Malayalam movie ‘Helen’ had actress Anna Ben essaying the titular role and the script was written by the writers Alfred Kurian Joseph, Noble Babu Thomas and Mathukutty Xavier.
