Actress Swarna Thomas recovering

Young actress Swarna Thomas, who was critically injured after falling from the fourth floor of her apartment in Kochi recently, is out of danger, said her father, Thomas.
“Swarna had a backbone injury following the fall, and doctors have said that she might have to undergo a surgery if the pain gets worse,” he said. “But thankfully, there was no injury to her head, and she is conscious and speaking to us.” Swarna has now been shifted from the ICU to the room, he added.However, the actress is in no condition to leave the hospital and will need at least six months of complete bed rest before she will be able to lead a normal life.
Swarna is basically a dancer, and entered the film world through dance reality shows. A handful of her Malayalam films like Queue, Flat No 4B and Pranayakatha are awaiting release. The actress, who was shooting for a movie, reportedly slipped and fell from the balcony of her apartment, where she was resting during a break.
