A source from the function tells us, “Miya wore a shimmery lehenga in onion pink, which apparently has its pattern inspired from ancient European Damask motifs. Ashwin wore a mint green Nehur suit model waist coat and trousers." The function, which started around 12 noon, was attended by immediate family members only, due to the Covid – 19 restrictions. The wedding is expected to happen in the month of September.

In June, the families had come together for an informal ceremony in Kottayam, post which the news of the 23-year-old actress getting engaged had gone viral. Sometime back, Miya’s sister Gini, who runs a popular Youtube channel, had shared a video she captured of the ring exchange ceremony of the couple.

In Malayalam, Miya was seen last in the Lal Junior film ‘Driving Licence,’ which had Prithviraj and Suraj Venjaramoodu in the lead roles. Miya’s portrayal of the character, who was Suraj’s wife in the movie, was much applauded too. Rumours have it that she is part of the upcoming Vikram-starrer Tamil project ‘Cobra’ as well. She also has the films titled ‘Kaanmanilla,’ and another film with Kalidas Jayaram, coming up.
