Actress Arundhathi Nair still on ventilator support, says sister

Actress Arundhathi Nair is still on ventilator support, a week after she met with an accident in Thiruvananthapuram. According to her sister Arathy Nair, "She is yet to respond much but there are some subtle reactions from her. As of now, her breathing has become better than earlier." The actress has also suffered three cardiac arrests since the accident, according to Arathy.


The actress met with an accident late in the night while travelling back home with her cousin after a shoot. "She has some severe injuries other than the critical head injury, especially her ribs and bones but we are all hopeful that she will bounce back," said Arathy.


Speaking to us Arathy also addressed some criticism the family faced on social media regarding financial help. "We had requested financial support because we are an average income family and cannot afford the massive expenditure we are looking at currently. My sister and I are the people with income in our family. It's a serious request from our part and not a scam as some called it," she said.
