Actress Anumol shared the trailer of her film 'Padmini.' Padmini is an upcoming Malayalam movie directed by debutant film-maker Susmesh Chandroth. The film portrays the life of a painter T. K. Padmini from Kerala. The biopic goes through the struggle she faced throughout her life to achieve her path.
The trailer of the film picturizes the struggles Padmini had to face as art was prohibited for women from good families at that time.It discusses the obstacles she had to overcome in order to get an education and to indulge in art. T. K. Padmini was one of the rarest from her category, as there are only a few women painters from Kerala.

The Malayalam movie directed by Unnikrishnan Aavala focuses on the struggles that the tribe 'Gulikan' confronts in order to survive. The film features a young man who gets married at the age of 14. He, later on, explores his sexuality. The film revolves around the struggle the protagonist has to confront in order to go with his sexuality.
