Actor Geetha Salam passes away

Veteran actor Geetha Salam passed away at the age of 73. He took his last breath at Alappuzha. Geetha Salam is a resident of Ochira, Alappuzha.
According to reports, Geetha Salam was admitted to hospital in Alappuzha Government Medical College apropos respiratory diseases. The reports suggest that he took his last breath yesterday at 3:30 pm in the hospital.The funeral ceremony will be carried out by 10 am today, according to Islam rituals.
The actor has done some memorable roles in films like ‘Jalolsavam’, ‘Gramaphone’, ‘Kuberan’ etc.
His recent film was 'Thinkal Muthal Velli Vare.' Geetha Salam has done 82 movies in his career. He started his career with the movie, 'Mani Koya Kurup.' He became more common with his character in 'Megha Sandesham,' a horror thriller. Salam has got a handful of memorable characters for his innocent looks. He usually played characters which had a sad backstory.
