Action choreographer Peter Hein praises Mohanlal’s dedication in ‘Kannappa’: Lal sir performed his shot even better than the others

Renowned action choreographer Peter Hein, who gained immense popularity among Malayalam audiences with his work in ‘Pulimurugan’ and many others, recently shared his experience of working with Mohanlal in the Telugu mythological film ‘Kannappa.’

During the promotions for his latest film ‘Idiyan Chandhu,’ Peter Hein praised Mohanlal’s exceptional dedication and skill in action sequences, highlighting the veteran actor’s cameo role in ‘Kannappa.’

Peter Hein, responsible for the action choreography in ‘Kannappa,’ recounted a particularly challenging rope action sequence involving over 800 junior artists and fighters standing over 8 feet tall. He expressed his admiration for Mohanlal’s commitment to perfecting his performance. “We composed a rope action sequence for the movie, and the set had over 800 junior artists. Fighters were over 8 feet tall, and the cast, including the lead actor, performed well during the scene. Lal sir performed his shot even better than the others. He is such a dedicated artist,” Hein remarked.

The action choreographer further elaborated on Mohanlal’s approach to his craft, noting that despite his legendary status, the actor maintains a sense of innocence and performs each scene with the enthusiasm of a newcomer.

Peter Hein emphasized that Mohanlal’s dedication is evident to anyone who witnesses him in action. “Even though Mohanlal is a legend, he still has that innocence and performs each scene like a new artist before the camera. No one will believe it until they have seen Mohanlal in action, but I have seen it during a shoot in Bangalore,” Peter Hein shared.
