Acting with Sreesanth was initially awkward: Nikki

Nikki Galrani's projects in Tamil are keeping her so busy that the actress isn't taking up too many films in Malayalam. While she will be seen in a cameo in the upcoming 'Shajahanum Pareekuttyum', she's doing a full-length role in former cricketer Sreesanth's debut Malayalam film, '

The actress, who plays Sreesanth's girlfriend in the movie, tells us that acting with the cricketer, whom she knew from childhood, was initially a bit awkward. 'There is no doubt that he is an amazing actor. But I have always known him as a cricketer, and so seeing him in front of the camera was hard to digest at first. But he nailed it in no time and carried off his scenes with ease.'

Nikki has been playing police and customs officers in her recent projects, and says that such roles are a lot of fun. 'While acting as the police officer in Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran, I realised that beating up people is a lot of fun (laughs)! With kicks, blocks and lots of action, it was quite an adrenaline pumping experience,' she says.

Her upcoming Tamil movies include 'Motta Siva Ketta Siva' with Raghava Lawrence, G V Prakash's 'Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru' and another project with Aadhi.
