Abrid Shine and Jibu Jacob to team up for 'Bheekaran'

Popular Malayalam filmmakers Abrid Shine and Jibu Jacob are teaming up for an upcoming film titled ‘Bheekaran’. The upcoming film will mark the duo’s first collaboration. Abrid Shine is scripting the film and Jibu Jacob is the director for ‘Bheekaran’.

Joemon Jyothir, known for his performances in ‘Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil’, and ‘Vaazha’ is playing the lead role in the upcoming film. The makers have kept other details regarding the cast under wraps. ‘Bheekaran’ will go on floors soon. The makers have also launched the title poster via social media

Meanwhile, Abrid Shine’s recent work was ‘Mahaveeryar’ starring Nivin Pauly. He will be next presenting Honey Rose starrer ‘Rachel’. Speaking about the film, the actress earlier said, “Stepping into the shoes of Rachel in this pan-Indian project was a unique experience. For the first time in my 18-year career as a heroine, I had the pleasure of working under the guidance of a dynamic and passionate lady director, Ms. Anandhini Bala, who transformed Rachel into the most ravishing character.”

On the other hand, Jibu Jacob’s recent outing was the 2023 release ‘Mei Hoom Moosa’. The film featured Suresh Gopi in the lead role, and received a decent response from the audience.
