‘Aavesham’ box office collection day 27: Fahadh Faasil’s film collects Rs 149.6 crore globally

Fahadh Faasil’s latest release ‘Aavesham’ helmed by Jithu Madhavan continues to be a crowd-puller. The film continues to hold screens and pull the audience even on its twenty-seventh day in theaters.

‘Aavesham’ has earned Rs 81.75 crore in India net collection according to a report by Sacnilk. On its twenty-seventh day alone, the film earned around Rs 1.05 crore to its India net earnings. The collection of ‘Aavesham’ on Tuesday, May 7, which also marks its twenty-seventh day is significant, as the recent Malayalam releases including ‘Nadikar’ and ‘Malayalee From India’ haven’t managed to earn anywhere near it recently.

‘Aavesham’ maintained an overall 23.03% occupancy rate in Malayalam theaters on Tuesday, May 07. The film has also made a significant impact internationally, garnering a commendable overseas collection of Rs 54.50 crore over its twenty-seven days of release. This brings its total global collection to an impressive Rs 149.6 crore.

Jithu Madhavan’s sophomore directorial ‘Aavesham’ has Fahadh Faasil, Sajin Gopu, Mansoor Ali Khan, Ashish Vidyarthi, Hipzster, Mithun Jai Sankar, Roshan Shanavas, and Midhutty in the lead roles.

ETimes rated the film 3.5 out of 5 and wrote, “Just when you think Fahadh Faasil—or FaFa—has aced some of the best characters he could possibly get in his career, he goes all out as Ranga in writer-director Jithu Madhavan's goofball gangster film Aavesham. Jithu Madhavan has already shown that he knows how to do things differently and with style with his debut horror movie, Romancham. He has delivered another unique comedy with Aavesham.”
