Jithu Madhavan’s sophomore directorial ‘Aavesham’, featuring Fahadh Faasil in the lead role is captivating audiences and critics alike. The film stands tall, marking its territory as a box office powerhouse within its first 14 days of release. Within 14 days, ‘Aavesham’ has set the cash registers ringing, raking in an impressive Rs 52.31 crore in net earnings across India.
According to a report by Sacnilk, the early estimates suggest that ‘Aavesham’ has minted Rs 2.60 crore from India on day 14.

The film recorded an occupancy of 34.39% in Malayalam regions on April 24, 2024, its fourteenth day. Its global collection stands at a staggering Rs 99.75 crore, and the overseas earnings are Rs 42 crore.
Starring Fahadh Faasil, the film also has actors Sajin Gopu, Mansoor Ali Khan, Ashish Vidyarthi, Hipzster, Mithun Jai Sankar, Roshan Shanavas, and Midhutty in supporting roles.
Set in Bengaluru, ‘Aavesham’ revolves around three college students and a gangster they encounter in search of a goon who can take revenge on their behalf against a group of seniors who have been causing them trouble.

ETimes rated the film 3.5 out of 5 and wrote, “Just when you think Fahadh Faasil—or FaFa—has aced some of the best characters he could possibly get in his career, he goes all out as Ranga in writer-director Jithu Madhavan's goofball gangster film Aavesham.
