Since the day, the renowned director
Aashiq Abu announced his upcoming project ‘Neelavelicham’, a film adaptation of the short story written by Vaikom Muhammad Basheer, the audience anticipation has soared high. Recently an update was made by the producer Santosh T Kuruvilla, saying that the shoot for ‘Neelavelicham’ is soon to commence.

Producer Santosh T Kuruvilla, who has bankrolled several films such as ‘Da Thadiya’, ‘Maheshinte Prathikaaram’, ‘Maayanadhi’, took to his official Facebook handle to announce that Aashiq Abu’s upcoming film ‘Neelavelicham’ will start rolling soon. In the Facebook post, Santosh T Kuruvilla wrote a brief description of the upcoming film ‘Neelavelicham’, saying the film is based on the 1964 horror film ‘Bhargavi Nilayam’, which was a film adaptation of Vaikom Muhammad Basheer’s short story ‘Neelavelicham’.

The film ‘Neelavelicham’ will see the actors
Prithviraj Sukumaran, Kunchacko Boban, Rima Kallingal, and
Soubin Shahir playing pivotal roles, and the cinematography is helmed by Shyju Khalid. Bijibal and Rex Vijayan will be composing the music for ‘Neelavelicham’.
In the Facebook post, Santosh T Kuruvilla also mentioned that the upcoming
Tovino Thomas starrer film ‘
Naradan
’ will be released in theatres once the Covid- 19 cases drop. He added that the film ‘Naradan’ will surely be released in theatres as it's one of the biggest films that is coming out of his production house. The film ‘Naradan’ has a battalion of a talented star cast that includes Tovino Thomas, Anna Ben, Jaffer Idukki, Sharaf U Dheen, Renji Panicker, and Joy Mathew.
