A R Reihana composes music for Mollywood

Though A R Rahman has composed music for just one Mollywood film decades ago, Malayalis have held the songs of Mohanlal-Madhoo-starrer Yodha to their heart.
While we have not been able to bring him back since then, the Oscar winner’s sister, music composer and singer A R Reihana, recently tuned a song for the upcoming Malayalam film Vasanthathinte Kanalvazhikalil, starring Samuthirakani.
According to the film’s director Anil Nagendran, Reihana composed a contemporary track for the movie, which is based on comrade P Krishnapillai. Reihana has also been performing alongside Rahman at various music concerts that are trending in the web world too.
