From the shooting sets of Amal Neerad's Trance movie, the national award winner for best supporting actor, Fahadh Faasil expressed his happiness along with his wife Nazriya and the director of Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum, Dileesh Pothan. The actor divulged that Prasad, the thief in the movie is the most challenging role that he has ever played. "I am extremely happy. When I started acting, I was always worried whether people would watch my kind of films. Now, I realise that I am able do such films as I am born here and work in Malayalam. I had no expectations that I would win an award, but I knew Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum would definitely bag one. I think this is the most challenging character that I have ever enacted. It was totally new. I was seeing a police station for the first time and had no clue on such an organisation functions. But Dileesh was very particular that the character should act as though he was a regular at the police station. We really worked hard and it came out well as most of the actors are policemen," he says. Fahadh was expected to bag the best actor awards at the Kerala State film Awards, this year, for his performance in Thondimuthalum Driksakhiyum. However he lost it to Indran's performance in Alorukkam.
