Finally after a long time, Dulquer Salmaan’s action feast ‘King of Kotha’ has started rolling in Tamil Nadu and the film has a genuine amount of hype among the audiences for all the right reasons. The film is mounted on a large scale and the makers leave no stones unturned in amping up the hype for the movie. Dulquer Salmaan previously said in an interview with an online media channel that the Telugu film ‘Sita Ramam’ will be his last romantic movie as he will be taking up action entertainer ventures in future. Dulquer reportedly said that the audiences nowadays love movies that offer catchy songs, perfectly timed elevation sequences and mass appeal and he genuinely thinks that ‘King of Kotha’ will be having all such elements to entertain the audiences.

Dulquer Salmaan, although being a star kid, has gained his stardom just because of his stardom and correct choice of movies. But for the past few years, the actor has been on a path of delivering underwhelming movies that came to a full stop with the success of the Telugu film ‘Sita Ramam’. The actor is now carefully selecting his upcoming projects and the Bollywood film ‘Chup’ is definitely a start. Taking this condition into hand, it can be expected that Dulquer has found something interesting in ‘King of Kotha’.

The cast of ‘King of Kotha’ seems to be promising. Actress Aishwarya Lekshmi will be playing the female lead character in the movie and according to the reports, the actress Nyla Usha is also part of the cast. In the set pics that went viral on social media last day, the actors Gokul Suresh and Chemban Vinod Jose were spotted. Reportedly the actor Dhruv Vikram has been approached by the makers to play a pivotal role in the movie and this has not yet been confirmed.

‘King of Kotha’ is helmed by the director Abhilash Joshiy who is the son of the veteran hitmaking director Joshiy who is currently basking in the success of the investigative thriller movie ‘Paappan’. The film is scripted by Abhilash N Chandran who is best known for the superhit movie ‘Porinju Mariam Jose’. Another promising crew member in ‘King of Kotha’ is the talented cameraman Nimish Ravi who will be cranking the lens for this Dulquer Salmaan starrer.
