'4.5 Gang' trailer out: Slum boys dream big in Trivandrum's chaotic world - Watch

The makers of director Krishand's much-anticipated Malayalam web series '4.5 Gang' dropped its trailer, which includes the story of a gang of five, four young men and a midget from a Trivandrum slum. The maker shared the trailer today. Check out.

The 2-minute 43-second trailer shows the '4.5 Gang' is fed up with living on the outer fringe. All they want is respect, and in order to gain this respect, they develop a risky plan: take control of the local temple festival. Unfortunately, they quickly face the hard truth of the world in front of them, a world where they come up against a murderous gangster who runs the city with its unique but fiercely competitive premise of the milk and flower business.

Cast of the series

'4.5 Gang' has an amazing cast that is a mix of seasoned veterans and exciting new talents. The lineup includes notable names Jagadish, Indrans, and Vijayaraghavan, alongside the likes of Hakkim Shah, Darshana Rajendran, Sanju Sivaram, and Vishnu Agasthya. There are also some other great additions in Sachin, Santhi Balachandran, Niranj Maniyan Pillai, Sreenath Babu, Shambu Menon, Prashant Alex, and Rahul Rajagopal.

Vishnu Prabhakar handles cinematography, while the music is composed by Sooraj Santhosh and Varkey, which provides an edgy undertone to the series. Krishand himself has penned the story, screenplay, and dialogues and his creative control is apparent throughout the narrative. Sasi Kumar handles editing while Kraig Lee does the stunts. Divya Joby and Kavitha Santhosh are costume designers.

The series is set to premiere on Sony LIV on August 29.
