1971: Beyond Borders' first day theater report

The latest Major Ravi directorial 1971: Beyond Borders, which hit theaters on April 7, seems to have already impressed Mohanlal fans across the State.

The war drama, in which Mohanlal appears in three different looks, had huge openings all over the State on the first day. Across Kerala, the movie had houseful screenings for the first day first shows. The movie, which is the fifth collaboration between the director and the mega star, was released in 405 screens in India, and 193 screens in Kerala alone.

Mohanlal and Major Ravi had earlier worked together in the films Keerthichakra, Kurukshetra, Kandahar and Karmayodha.
