Did you know the late director Siddique was planning a film with Mammootty titled ‘Doctor Mad’?

Ace filmmaker Siddique breathed his last on August 8, the last day, and the entire film industry is mourning the loss. Although his recent filmography didn’t impress the audiences, did you know that Siddique was planning to make his grand comeback with a Mammootty starrer?

According to the sources, the late director Siddique was set to collaborate with the legendary actor Mammootty for an upcoming film reportedly titled ‘Doctor Mad’. Dubai based writer Azi was supposed to assist in the project which was helmed by Siddique.

On the other hand, Siddique has already collaborated with Mammootty for the superhit films ‘Hitler’, ‘Chronic Bachelor’ and ‘Bhaskar the Rascal’. All of the three films turned out to be a success at the box office and can be termed as the best films helmed by the legendary filmmaker Siddique.

Meanwhile, Siddique's last film was the Mohanlal starrer action drama film ‘Big Brother’ which unfortunately flopped at the box office with several negative reviews from the audiences. Siddique has also collaborated with Mohanlal for several superhit films.

The audiences were expecting a great comeback of the director who delivered several masterpieces to the Malayalam film industry such as ‘Godfather’, ‘Vietnam Colony’, ‘Ramji Rao Speaking’, ‘In Harihar Nagar’, and many others.
