Mallika Sukumaran is Indrajith’s mom, and this incident dates nearly two decades back. So, Mallika Sukumaran was filming for a television soap ‘Peythozhiyathe’ by KK Rajeev. She was making her second innings in showbiz, following a long break and her husband’s demise. Mallika’s sons Indrajith and Prithviraj used to drop her at the location and later come by to pick her. And it was during one of those days Indrajith Sukumaran happened to see Poornima. Poornima was a part of the cast and while Indrajith was on the set to pick his mom Mallika, the duo met. Indrajith Sukumaran fell in love with Poornima the very moment he saw her and the rest is history. During one of her recent Instagram interactions, Mallika Sukumaran shared this interesting story with fans. The veteran actress also recalled the events that followed after Indrajith met Poornima. She shared that Indrajith Sukumaran was gaga over her and was often humming the song ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’!

The couple is happily married and are blessed with two beautiful and talented kids.
