‘Viduthalai Part 1’ Kerala box office collection: Vetrimaaran’s film mints Rs 30 lakhs

Director Vetrimaaran never fails to impress movie buffs and the ace filmmaker has once again proved his talent with the recently released period police procedural crime thriller movie ‘Viduthala Part 1’. Reportedly, the movie has managed to mint Rs 30 lakhs at the Kerala box office.

Vetrimaaran’s ‘Viduthalai Part 1’ has indeed garnered positive responses from Kerala movie buffs and according to the Twitter forums that track the box office collection figures, the Soori starrer has minted Rs 30 lakhs within 2 days from KBO.Reportedly, the total gross of the movie amounts to Rs 10 crores.
Vetrimaaran’s ‘Viduthalai Part 1’ has the actor Soori in the lead role as the character named Kumaresan and the film’s plot revolves around a police officer who is recruited to capture the leader of a separatist group. Soori’s performance along with Vetrimaaran’s terrific direction is said to be the major plus points of the movie. Overall the movie is getting widely positive responses from the film lovers.
Director Vetrimaaran penned down the script of ‘Viduthalai Part 1’ along with the writer Jayamohan. Apart from Soori, the movie also featured the actors Vijay Sethupathi, Bhavani Sre, Chetan, Ilavarasu, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Rajiv Menon in significant roles.
