‘Spadikam 4k’ box office collection day 4: Mohanlal starrer mints Rs 2.25 crores

It's evident that even after 28 years, the iconic film ‘Spadikam’ is still able to bring in the movie buffs to the theatres and the latest 4k version of the movie has now minted Rs 2.25 crores in 4 days at the Kerala box office.

According to the reports, Mohanlal’s classic film ‘Spadikam’ re-release version has minted Rs 2.25 crores at the box office in 4 days and the movie is running on Housefull screens.

‘Spadikam 4k’ had a clash release with Mammootty’s ‘Christopher’ and reportedly, the latter movie has managed to rake in more than Rs 4 crores in 4 days.

Considering the fact that ‘Spadikam’ is a re-released version, it can be said that the movie is doing wonders at the box office. The 4k version is getting highly positive responses from the audience and the director Bhadran previously said that there will be an extended 8.5-minute sequence in the new version of ‘Spadikam’.

As ‘Spadikam’ re-release is getting much adulation from the audience all over, Mohanlal shared a gratitude note via his official Twitter handle on the last day.

Mohanlal’s Twitter note read, “Grateful beyond words for the overwhelming response and love being showered upon Aadu Thoma, even after 28 long years! Big thanks and bravo to Bhadran sir and the team behind Spadikam 4K ATMOS! #Spadikam”

Apart from Mohanlal, ‘Spadikam’ also had the magnificent actors Thilakan, KPAC Lalitha, Maniyanpilla Raju, Urvashi, Silk Smitha, and several others in significant roles.
