‘Romancham’ box office collection: Soubin Shahir’s horror comedy film is all set to cross Rs 50 crores

Mounted on a budget of less than Rs 2 crores, Soubin Shahir - Arjun Ashokan’s horror comedy film ‘Romancham’ is doing wonders at the box office, and according to the latest reports, the movie is all set to cross the whopping figure of Rs 50 crores.

According to the Twitter forums that track the box office collection reports, ‘Romancham’ has reportedly minted close to Rs 30 crores from the Kerala box office, and the worldwide collection figures for the movie will be reportedly touching Rs 50 crores in the coming days.

Soubin Shahir starrer horror comedy film ‘Romancham’ hit the big screens on February 3rd this year and the movie was received with several positive responses from the audience. Stunning performances, terrific comedy timing, and well-executed horror sequences were said to be the main highlights of ‘Romancham’.

Written and directed by the debutant Jithu Madhavan, the cinematography of Sanu Thahir, and the editing was done by Kiran Das. Sushin Shyam composed the music for the horror comedy film and the movie was mounted on a budget of around Rs 3 crores.

Actors Soubin Shahir, Arjun Ashokan, Anantharaman Ajay, Sajin Gopu, Abin Bino, and several other newcomers in significant lead roles.
