Soubin Shahir - Arjun Ashokan’s horror comedy entertainer film ‘Romancham’ is nearing Rs 30 crores at the box office and its sure that the movie has become one of the most profitable ventures for the year 2023.

Although there has been no official confirmation yet, the horror comedy film ‘Romancham’ has managed to mint Rs 26.7 crores from Kerala and Rs 2.6 crores from the rest of India in 18 days. It will be taking only a few days for the movie to hit Rs 30 crores. Reportedly, the global box office collection figures for the movie amount to Rs 44 crores.
Mounted on a low budget, ‘Romancham’ has already achieved a break-even profit and even more. The film hit the big screens on February 3rd and the reviews were all positive for the Soubin Shahir starrer. The movie was based on some true events that happened in the life of seven bachelors staying in Bangalore.
‘Romancham’ was written and directed by the debutant filmmaker Jithu Madhavan and the cinematography was done by Sanu Thahir. Kiran Das did the editing for the film, whereas the music was composed by Sushin Shyam.
‘Romancham’ features the actors Soubin Shahir, Arjun Ashokan, Sajin Gopu, Chemban Vinod Jose, and several others in significant roles.
