Even though the Mollywood director Vinayan has been facing the lowest point in his career for the past few years, he has made the right comeback with the recently released epic drama movie ‘Pathonpatham Noottandu’ and according to the reports, the movie has minted over Rs 8.35 crores worldwide.

Although the makers have not yet announced the official collection figures for ‘Pathonpatham Noottandu’, according to the Twitter forums that track box office collections, Vinayan’s epic drama has minted over Rs 6.77 crores from the Kerala box office and the worldwide collections of the movie reportedly add up to Rs 8.35 crores.
Although the collection figures for ‘Pathonpatham Noottandu’ seems to be more impressive than most of the recent releases in Mollywood, the film has a long way to go to cover up the budget of the movie which reportedly amounts to Rs 25 crores. As ‘Pathonpatham Noottandu’ is getting many positive responses from the audiences it can be assumed that the film will earn much more figures in the coming days.
‘Pathonpatham Noottandu’ hit the big screens on September 8 and the netizens hailed the movie to be the comeback of the veteran director Vinayan. The film had a strong crew that included Santhosh Narayanan in the music department, Vivek Harshan as the editor, and Shaji Kumar as the cinematographer.
Mollywood actor Siju Wilson played the lead role in the movie as the character named Arattupuzha Velayudha Panicker and the rest of the cast in the movie included Kayadu Lohar, Anoop Menon, Chemban Vinod Jose, Deepti Sati, Poonam Bajwa, and Renu Soundar.
