Mollywood actor Unni Mukundan definitely has his next hit this year with the drama movie ‘Malikappuram’ as it has reportedly minted Rs 4.45 crores in five days.
Although the makers have not yet disclosed the box office collection reports for ‘Malikappuram’, according to the Twitter forums that track box office collection reports, the movie has minted Rs 4.45 crores in five days. The film reportedly has a share of Rs 2 crores.
For a movie that is mounted on a budget of Rs 3.75 crores, if the reports are to be believed, then ‘Malikappuram’ has grossed even more than the budget and is undoubtedly one of the most profitable ventures in Mollywood this year. The film has also marked the third hit from Unni Mukundan after the movies ‘Meppadiyan’, and ‘Sheffeekkinte Santhosham’.
Unni Mukundan’s ‘Malikappuram’ hit the big screens on December 30, 2022, and the film gained several positive responses from the audience for its well-paced script, action, and terrific performances from the actors.
Helmed by the director Vishnu Sasi Sankar, ‘Malikappuram’s script was penned by the writer Abhilash Pillai. Vishnu Narayanan cranked the lens for the movie and the music was composed by Ranjin Raj.
Actors Unni Mukundan, Deva Nandha, Saiju Kurup, Manoj K Jayan, TG Ravi, Ramesh Pisharody, and Indrans played pivotal roles in ‘Malikappuram’.
