‘Kannur Squad’ box office collections day 32: Mammootty’s film rakes in Rs 41.05 crores at KBO

Mammootty's crime drama film, 'Kannur Squad,' continues to make waves at the box office, maintaining its strong performance despite the grand release of Vijay's 'Leo.' The film has now crossed the impressive milestone of Rs 41.05 crore in box office collections in Kerala within just 32 days of its release.

'Kannur Squad' is not only dominating the Kerala box office but is also shining on the global stage, surpassing Rs 80 crores in worldwide box office earnings. The film's sustained success is largely attributed to its highly positive reception from audiences.


Remarkably, 'Kannur Squad' has achieved a significant feat by entering its 5th week on more than 100 screens, a rarity for Malayalam films in recent times.

Directed by the debutant Roby Varghese Raj, the film has garnered widespread acclaim for its exceptional performances and masterful execution, complemented by Sushin Shyam's outstanding music composition.

In the midst of 'Kannur Squad's' impressive run, Vijay's 'Leo' is also making waves at the box office, becoming the fastest Tamil film to reach the Rs 50 crore mark.

Meanwhile, other Malayalam films such as 'Rahel Makan Kora' and 'Somante Krithavu' have yet to gain a solid foothold at the Kerala box office. All eyes are now on the highly anticipated release of Dileep's film, 'Bandra,' scheduled for November 10.
