‘Jailer’ Kerala box office collections: Rajinikanth’s film mints more than Rs 33 crores

With the right inclusion of superstars from the Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam film industries, the promising filmmaker Nelson Dilpikumar has indeed knocked it out of the park with his recent blockbuster film ‘Jailer’

‘Jailer’ has impressed the Malayali audiences, and according to the latest reports, the Rajinikanth starrer has managed to rake in Rs 33.60 crores from the Kerala box office within 6 days. The day 6 collection figures for the movie reportedly amounted to Rs 5.45 crore.

As ‘Jailer’ reportedly collected Rs 33.60 crores from Kerala, Malayali audiences are raving about how Nelson Dilipkumar has presented Mohanlal in a unique and stylish avatar accompanied by Anirudh’s terrific background score. Due to the perfect cameo appearance of the superstar Shivarajkumar, the movie is also doing well at the Kannada box office. The movie also has Mollywood actor Vinayakan playing an antagonistic character.

Helmed by the director Nelson Dilipkumar, ‘Jailer’ is hailed as one of his best works and marks his perfect comeback film after the underwhelming Vijay starrer action entertainer ‘Beast'.

On the other hand, Dulquer Salmaan’s ‘King of Kotha’, Shane Nigam’s ‘RDX’, and Nivin Pauly’s ‘Ramachandra Boss & Co.’ will be locking horns at the box office this Onam.
