'Dies Irae' box office collections day 21: Pranav Mohanlal's film reaches Rs 40.63 cr

Pranav Mohanlal’s psychological thriller 'Dies Irae' continues its third-week theatrical journey with a steady pace at the box office.


The film has now accumulated an impressive Rs 40.63 crore India net in 21 days. On its third Thursday, the film collected Rs 18 lakhs, according to early estimates.


As reported by the Sacnilk website, 'Dies Irae' has managed to sustain audience interest with stable contributions from late evening shows. The Malayalam occupancy on November 20, 2025, stood at 8.96%, with night shows touching 11.56%, the highest throughout the day.

Box office performance

Over the last few days, the film has shown typical third-week fluctuations but remains in the race among November releases. Day 18 brought Rs 35 lakhs which was followed by a dip to Rs 25 lakhs on Day 19.


However, the film witnessed a slight recovery on Day 20 with Rs 30 lakhs, before settling at Rs 18 lakhs on Day 21.

Directed by Rahul Sadasivan, the film stars Pranav Mohanlal alongside Arun Ajikumar, Jaya Kurup, Manohari Joy, and Gibin Gopinath. ETimes, in its review, noted, “A couple of gripes would be the predictability of the ending after the final arc, and a handful of unanswered questions — the latter perhaps by design.” It also highlighted the title’s symbolic intensity, saying, “Dies Irae means The Day of Wrath, and while it has little to do with the actual plot, it lingers on the periphery.”
