Although the makers have not yet officially declared the box office collection figures, James Cameron’s ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ has minted Rs 38 crores at the Kerala box office. Even with the limited number of shows, ‘Avatar’ is performing magnificently at the Kerala box office and it can be expected that the film will be collecting more numbers at the box office in the coming days.

James Cameron’s science fiction film ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ hit the big screens worldwide on December 16 and the movie got several positive responses from all over even though it was a bit let down from its predecessor film ‘Avatar’.

Helmed by the veteran filmmaker James Cameron, the screenplay of ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ was penned by the director along with the writers Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver. Russel Carpenter did the cinematography of the movies, whereas the editing section was handled by Stephen Rivkin, David Brenner, James Refoua, and James Cameroon.

On the other hand, at the Kerala box office, Unni Mukundan’s ‘Malikappuram’ seems to be the only Mollywood film that is performing well and the movie also marks the third successful venture of the handsome and talented hunk Unni Mukundan this year. Prithviraj Sukumaran’s ‘Kaapa’ is, unfortunately, performing no wonders at the box office.
