‘18+’ box office collections day 10: Mathew Thomas-Naslen’s comedy film rakes in more than Rs 5 crores

Even with average reviews, the recently released comedy-drama film ‘18+’ has managed to mint more than Rs 5 crore worldwide within 10 days.

According to the reports, Matthew Thomas-NNaslen’s ‘18+’ has raked in approximately 1.1 crores on its second week at the Kerala box office, making it a total of Rs 4.1 crores. Reportedly, the worldwide box office collection figures for ‘18+, aka ‘Journey of Love 18+, are more than Rs 5 crore.

Although ‘18+’ got mixed responses from the audiences when it hit the big screens on July 7, the movie is managing to get good collection figures from the box office, all thanks to the brilliant chemistry of Matthew Thomas and Naslen, whom the majority of the audiences love.

Helmed by the ‘Jo and Jo’ famed Arun D. Jose, ‘18+’ is touted to be a comedy entertainer that showcases the love story of the two youngsters Akhil and Athira, which ends up in a serious brawl among the families. Actress Nikhila Vimal played the female lead character in the movie.

‘18+’ also features actors Binu Pappu, Meenakshi, Saaf Bros., and Shyam Mohan in significant roles.
