The Supreme Court verdict on September 28 has opened the doors of the Sabarimala Temple to women. While the debate is still on whether women should really venture out to the abode of Lord Ayyappa, prominent personalities have come out to express their opinion on the same. Actress Bhaama recently posted on her social networking page about the verdict. While in the age of social media, where you get easily judged for your opinion on issues, she said that she respects the verdict. However, she doubts whether women will actually set out to the temple, given that there is a discrepancy between the religious practises and temple practises, and each temple has its own set of values and norms to be followed, and has its own relevance. She also quoted the opinion vividly, which we presume might be her take on the entire issue. She says that these are the words she would like to tell other women as well.
