Aparna Gopinath performs theater in Kerala

Actress Aparna Gopinath is always effusive about her love for theater. She is very active in Perch, a Chennai based theater group. Now after more than five years of her film entry, the actress is going to showcase her maiden theater performance in Kerala on October 23 at JTPac.The play titled, 'Under The Mangosteen Tree', in English, is an adventurous mix of seven short stories of Vaikom Muhammad Basheer. The stories in this play are Poovan Banana (Poovan Pazham), The Blue Light (Neela Velicham), Walls (Mathilukal), Voices (Shabdangal), The World Renowned Nose (Viswavikhayatamaya Mookku) and The Man (Oru Manushyan).
