Aparna Balamurali says she would love to be cast in a biopic

. Having essayed an array of characters on-screen, ask Aparna whether there is anything she would want to essay, and she says, “It would be a biopic. I have always wanted to do a biopic like Mahanati. Keerthy Suresh recreated the character of someone she knew quite well- Savithri Amma. If she doesn’t portray what she was with perfection, people would find out anyway, because of her persona. Keerthy has worked so much that people could actually relate to her and even thought that Keerthy Suresh and Savithri Amma looked alike. I think that is something remarkable.”

She adds. “To get to be in a biopic of someone you already know, would be a different experience. I do not know that would be, all I can say is I would want to be part of one.”

Given that biopics are the flavour of the season, across film industries with films based on Indian scientist Nambi Narayanan and Malayalam actor Sathyan, being the recent examples.
