Story: The rape and murder of Annie, who belongs to the CRPF bomb squad, leaves the entire town of Kottayam in a fix. Where does this take the people in her life? Review: The cops give it all to solve the puzzle of CRPF bomb squad member Annie’s murder. However, the more they try to unveil the mystery the more they are drawn to a conundrum. Annie's life revolves around Sunny, her love interest, his sister Sarah and the man she has an interest in, Johny. How their lives get entangled and they become the prime suspects for the murder forms the story. Though the film’s story banks on the instance of the gruesome rape and murder of Annie, it also tries to highlight the various current day issues that women face. That said, the film loses control over the thread post the interval, and it isn’t able to come to a conclusion regarding the culprit or the reason for such a heinous crime. There are a handful of important women characters like Annie, Sarah and tribal head’s daughter Apali in the story and the movie tries to present their journeys in detail, which, however, results in deviating from the main plot a tad too much. There are also a lot of loose ends in the tale that leave the viewers puzzled. If the movie had given the story a proper, well-charted out path to present its ideas, probably it would have worked better.
