Jayasurya and Kunchacko Boban are at odds again!
After 'Gulumaal', both Jayasurya and Kunchacko Boban are once again at odds with each other in another Y V Rajesh script. In the upcoming Boban Samuel directorial Shajahanum Pareekuttyum, the duo’s characters go all out to woo a girl played by Amala Paul.
“In tune with its title, it’s about two different perspectives of love with our characters being diametrically opposite,” says Kunchacko Boban. “I play Pranav, a sophisticated high flying businessman while Jayan’s character is a street-level goon. The movie is about how these two profess their love for the girl in their unique ways.”
About his character, Jayasurya elaborates, “His name is Prince and he’s someone who is not bothered to stoop to any level to get a job done. His part in the story is that he’s in search of his lost love.”
The movie is a full-on entertainer, says Jayasurya. “It’s that kind of film where you have to leave your brains outside the theatre. The movie is packed with laugh-out-loud moments,” he explains.
Incidentally, it’s the second consecutive movie for the duo — the previous one being Rosshan Anddrews’
For Kunchacko Boban too, School Bus has been a novel experience. “I play a cop for the first time in my career. My character R Gopakumar is not a flashy police officer who throws punches and punch dialogues at will but a very realistic character that people can relate to,” says the actor.
