Don Max reveals why he cast Meera Jasmine

Editor-turned-filmmaker Don Max’s debut directorial has already a stellar cast with Anoop Menon, Murali Gopy, Kaniha and Anumol, and now he’s roped in Meera Jasmine too in a strong role.

“She will play a

stylish

cop and in a never-seen-before avatar,” says Don. On casting her, he says, “The role needed somebody of her stature to pull it off. She was extremely happy about the role when we narrated it to her and that’s why decided to come onboard.”

The film is touted to be a crime drama, shot entirely in Idukki.
