Lee Jun-ho suffers ligament injury, continues ,'fan meeting tour' despite treatment

Singer and actor Lee Jun-ho has sustained a ligament injury but remains committed to his ongoing international fan meeting tour.

On Friday, a representative from JYP Entertainment confirmed to The Hankook Ilbo that the 2PM member was injured during a recent scheduled activity. “Lee Jun-ho recently suffered a ligament injury and is currently undergoing treatment,” the agency stated.

Despite his condition, the 34 year old star proceeded with his travel plans and was spotted using crutches at the airport as he departed for Japan to meet fans. Concern quickly spread among his supporters, prompting JYP Entertainment to reassure the public that he is receiving the necessary medical care while continuing his professional commitments.

Lee Jun-ho’s packed schedule includes upcoming fan meetings across multiple countries. His Japan events are set to take place in Tokyo on February 8 and 9, followed by stops in Taipei on February 22 and 23. He will then head to South America, where he is scheduled to meet fans in São Paulo on March 1 and 2.

Though his injury has raised concerns about his ability to participate fully, the artist appears determined to go ahead with his scheduled appearances. It remains unclear whether any modifications will be made to his performances to accommodate his recovery.

Lee Jun-ho made his debut as a member of the popular K-pop group 2PM in 2008. Over the years, he has successfully transitioned into acting, earning critical acclaim for his roles in television dramas such as Rain or Shine, The Red Sleeve, and King the Land. He has also showcased his talent in films like Twenty and Homme Fatal, further cementing his reputation as a versatile performer.

Looking ahead, Lee is preparing for his role in Netflix’s highly anticipated 2025 series Cashero. While details about his character remain under wraps, fans are eagerly awaiting his return to the screen.
