The Trojan Women
is a new adaptation of Greek playwright Euripides’ play by the same name, which is the third tragedy of a trilogy on the Trojan war. It was written during the Peloponnesian war around 415 BC, and is considered a commentary on the aftermath of the war and the pathos that it brings.Euripides
won the second prize for this play at the festival of Dionysia.The play is directed by Meera Sitaraman, and it features actor V Balakrishnan, Aparna Kumar, Shakthi Ramani, Roshini Sridhar, Nivedita Venkatesh, Shivangi Singh, Karthik Gowrishankar, Adhwitha Arumugam,
Meera Sitaraman
